When we talk about dental care, we are not talking about aesthetics. We are talking about dignity.
Natalia is a participant in the Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) program. She is a woman fighting for herself and her future. She has experienced addiction and faces stigma every day. At the same time, she works, supports her family, and dreams of a normal life—just like any of us.
This is exactly why we implement this project. Basic dental care should not be a luxury.
What Natalia received through the project:
Extraction of inflamed teeth;
Pain-free procedures thanks to anesthesia;
A nylon denture, allowing her to eat normally and feel confident about her appearance.
Short-term impact: reduced pain, return to a normal lifestyle, decreased anxiety, and greater self-confidence in social interactions.
Long-term impact: the opportunity to find work without stigma, rebuild social connections, and live without fear of judgment. A beautiful smile means being seen, being confident, being yourself.
This is not cosmetic. These are tools for survival and recovery for people who want and can live better.
"I no longer hide. I no longer stay silent. And I want to move forward."
Dental care is a key to dignity. This is what we provide, and this is why we work every day.
