2–3 липня директорка фонду Ірина Орленко та керівниця проєктів Олена Ніколайчук взяли участь у надзвичайно важливому тренінгу:
«Вступ до убезпечення та підзвітності та основи запобігання сексуальній експлуатації, нарузі та домаганням (ЗСЕНД). Етичні комунікації».
Незважаючи на постійну небезпеку обстрілів, ми вирішили бути особисто присутніми — і не пошкодували. Жива зустріч, обмін досвідом, щирі розмови та взаємопідтримка — це те, чого не замінить жоден Zoom.
А ще — теплий, привітний Київ, який зустрічає з особливим світлом навіть у найтемніші часи.
Протягом двох днів ми:
- заглиблювались у принципи убезпечення та підзвітності в гуманітарній сфері,
- розбирали непрості кейси, вчилися реагувати на скарги та підтримувати постраждалих,
- досліджували етичні комунікації й говорили про ризики, які може нести навіть звичайний пост у соцмережах,
- опрацювали тему ЗСЕНД — те, що має бути чітко проговорене в кожній організації.
Окрема подяка тренерці @Liudmyla Sopruzhynska — за професіоналізм, глибину, чіткість і чутливість. Тримати простір для непростих тем — це талант і велика майстерність.
Ми повернулись не лише з новими знаннями, а й з відчуттям, що все, що ми робимо, має бути безпечним для кожної людини, яка поруч.
On July 2–3, the director of the foundation, Iryna Orlenko, and the project manager, Olena Nikolaychuk, took part in an extremely important training course:
“Introduction to Safety and Accountability and the Basics of Preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment. Ethical Communications.”
Despite the constant danger of shelling, we decided to attend in person — and we did not regret it. Face-to-face meetings, exchange of experience, sincere conversations, and mutual support are things no Zoom call can ever replace.
And then there’s warm, welcoming Kyiv, which greets you with a special light even in the darkest times. Over the course of two days, we delved into the principles of safety and accountability in the humanitarian sphere; analyzed complex cases and learned how to respond to complaints and support survivors; explored ethical communications and discussed the risks that even a simple social media post can carry; and worked on the topic of PSEAH — something that needs to be clearly addressed in every organization. Special thanks to trainer @Liudmyla Sopruzhynska for her professionalism, depth, clarity, and sensitivity. Holding space for difficult topics is both a talent and a great skill. We returned not only with new knowledge, but also with the understanding that everything we do must be safe for everyone around us.
