In Rivne, thanks to a mini-grant from the competition “Survivor and Community-Led Crisis Response (SCLR) in Ukraine” / “Support for Community Initiatives”, implemented by the Charitable Foundation “Our Future”, the initiative group “Compassionate Heart” together with the Charitable Organization “I Am Mariupol” are creating a space where internally displaced people from Mariupol can finally feel peace and safety.
The project “Psychological Relief Space for IDPs from Mariupol in Rivne” is more than just a room — it is an environment of trust and care.
Here, people can relax, communicate, restore emotional balance, and take part in creative activities.
What has already been done:
Cosmetic repairs and the creation of a cozy space.
Purchase of furniture and essential equipment.
Procurement of materials for creativity, art therapy, and relaxation.
Creation of conditions for activities — from painting to clay modeling.
Added touches of comfort — aroma lamps, blankets, and soft lighting.
We believe that even in the hardest of times, it is vital to have a place where one can simply… exhale.
Now, such a space exists at the “I Am Mariupol” Center in Rivne — and it works for people.
We thank our partners and everyone who contributed to making this idea a reality!
This project was implemented within the framework of the mini-grant competition “Survivor and Community-Led Crisis Response (SCLR) in Ukraine” / “Support for Community Initiatives.”
The project is supported by the Alliance for Public Health.
